DESCRIPTION:Wednesday\, February 26th\n10:00 am – 11:00 am\n$5/learner (up to $15/family) \n  \nEarly Learners Adventures is for ages 3\, 4\, 5\, 6-year-olds. This group will have similar seasonal activities as our other homeschool groups however\, it will be designed to meet the developmental needs and interests of younger students. You will notice that this program lasts for an hour instead of two. After the planned programming is finished you and your family are welcome to explore the grounds for another hour. As with other groups\, we will spend time outside and may get messy. Our goal is to appreciate the natural world and enjoy simple seasonal activities.

From jams and jellies to garlic basil vinegar to even some of our super limited run of 2024 maple syrup! \nThis visit is free and open to folks of all ages. Children should be accompanied by an adult. Donations are accepted. You’ll have the option to take a short adventure outdoors after the program so please dress for the weather! Please register by Tuesday March 19th at 4:00 pm\, if you’re planning to attend\, so we can prepare our adventure time for students!\n\n  \n

On this day we will be focusing on maple sugaring. We will be seeing how trees are tapped\, and learning how sap is turned into syrup! There will be walking to the sugar bush area in the woods and watching the evaporator boil the maple sap. Because of the walking involved and the heat of the evaporator\, this month we are asking that younger\, mobile accompanying siblings be of an age to comply with safety rules\, so they do not accidentally touch something hot. \n  \nRegistration is required. \n  \n

Children should be accompanied by an adult. \nMore information\, including times for scheduled activities geared toward children\, will be announced closer to the date. Activities for the day are free however donations are greatly appreciated.
