SUMMARY:SEEDS Revisited: Q&A with director Brittany Shyne
DESCRIPTION:Friday\, May 29th | 6-8pm\nShepherd’s Corner Ecology Center\n40 participant maximum \nPlease join us for Seeds Revisited: Q&A with director Brittany Shyne\, the acclaimed creator and director of SEEDS. Brittany is nationally known and has received many awards and speaker requests\, so we are especially thrilled that she will be back home in Ohio next month. She’ll answer your questions and continue the conversation around the decline of Black farming\, land justice\, and her creative process.\n\n  \nAt this informal gathering we will view scenes from the documentary and discuss them with Brittany and fellow community members. Prior viewing of SEEDS is helpful but is not necessary. Light refreshments will be served.\n\n\nSeeds Revisited: Q&A with director Brittany Shyne is the third event in Shepherd’s Corner Land Justice Series\, where we welcome BIPOC artists\, filmmakers\, writers\, and growers to teach us\, through intentional programming\, what it means to be on and part of the land. \n\n\nABOUT Seeds\nSeeds is Director Brittany Shyne’s Sundance-winning lyrical documentary of Black farmers\, legacy\, and land.\n“Interweaving the stories of three Black generational farmers to create a collective and intimate portrait of farming today\, Seeds is a moving and powerful exploration of their lives\, joys and struggles as well as the fragility of legacy and owning land.” Seedsthefilm.com \n  \nFree Admission. Registration Required. \n  \n  \nLoading…
