DESCRIPTION:Elementary: Home School Adventure Days\n3rd Wednesday of the month\n1:00 – 3:00 pm \n$5/student \nProgramming from 1:00 – 3:00 is designed for grades 1-5th grade students (6 years and older). Students older than this are welcome in our middle school program which is held from 9:30 am – 11:30 pm the same day. If you have younger students\, please see our Young Learner Adventure program which takes place on a different rotating day.  While a tagalong outside of this age range is permitted\, the programming will be geared towards the educational needs and interests of 1st – 5th graders.

Participants will work indoors or outdoors depending on the weather. Each person should bring a sketchbook\, drawing pencils (2B\, 4B and 6B)\, as well as a soft eraser. We’ll discuss optional materials in the first class. \nThe class will meet for three weeks on Tuesday afternoons from 1-3 starting on Earth Day\, April 22. April 29th and May 6th are the other class dates for the series. \nRegistration for the three-part series closes on April 18th or when class is filled. \n  \n

With your help\, we work to turn these hay fields into a thriving\, wonderfully productive\, and biologically diverse ecosystem. An ecosystem that has amazing abilities to filter water\, sequester carbon\, refill groundwater stores\, and provide a refuge for countless species throughout their life cycles. \nHelp us help Earth heal herself. Knowing her generosity\, it wouldn’t be a surprise if you find something beautiful along the way. \nShepherd’s Corner is an ecological ministry of the Dominican Sisters of Peace that serves as a center for ecology\, spirituality and education. The property’s diverse range of habitats offers a haven for wildlife and native flora\, plus a place of peace\, natural beauty\, and spiritual refreshment. \n  \nEarth Day Planting \nWho: Participants over the age of 15 are invited to join us for our Earth Day planting. Minors (15-17) should be accompanied by an adult.
