DESCRIPTION:At capacity.\n\nTai Chi Workshop\nFriday\, July 12th\n10:30 – 12:30\n$10\n8 participants maximum\nLed by Grace Franklin\n\n\nTai Chi movements are slow\, gentle\, and repetitive. They require no special equipment\, don’t take a lot of time\, and leave you feeling good! Regular practice of Tai Chi benefits balance\, flexibility\, memory\, coordination\, and vitality. \n\nLearn basic postures and fundamentals in a light-hearted but serious way.  You will learn about core principles of Tai Chi\, easy warm-up and cool-down exercises\, and a short flow form.  Class handouts will help you practice on your own at home. \nYour teacher and guide Grace Franklin has been practicing since 2008 with Living Tao lineage teachers Chungliang Al Huang\, Cielle Tewksbury and Dan Jones. \n\n\n\n\n\nFeel free to bring your lunch and stay after the tai chi class. You can also walk the labyrinths or meditation trail after class as well.

DESCRIPTION:CANCELLED DUE TO UNCERTAIN WEATHER \nGrowth: July Labyrinth Walk\nTuesday\, July 16th 7:00 – 8:30 pm\nSuggested Donation: $5\nFacilitated by John Seryak\, Shepherd’s Corner’s Labyrinth Keeper \nMid July is a time when our garden plants should be in full growth. Corn\, zucchini\, tomatoes\, cucumbers\, squash\, cabbage… all are now well on their way to the future harvest. Sun\, rain\, soil and tending all contribute to a healthy crop. \nWe also have our personal\, emotional\, and spiritual gardens that need tending. How are we growing personally? What is needed for the growth we look forward to? Labyrinth walks\, forest baths\, meditation\, alone time\, family\, nurturing relationships\, church\, books?   \n  \n\n\n\nLabyrinth walks are times for quiet reflection. Due to their nature\, silent walking is encouraged. Our labyrinth is located on Wengert Road\, at the second drive to the right. Please wear comfortable shoes. Everyone is welcome! No previous meditation experience or experience walking labyrinths is required. \nLearn more about labyrinths!
