SUMMARY:Book Club: 3 part series
DESCRIPTION:Book Club \n6:30 – 8:00 pm\nFebruary 19th; March 19th; April 16th\, 2026\n$15/participant\n \nPlease join us for our new book club. We’re going to spend three meetings talking about Braiding Sweetgrass by Robin Kimmerer. SUMMARY:Bread Making Retreat
DESCRIPTION:Breadmaking Retreat\n\nSaturday\, February 21st\, 2026\n$25/participant\n10: 00 am – 1:30 pm\nLed by Sr. Cathy Arnold\, OP & Sr. Terri Schell\, OP.\n\nSpend a morning exploring breadmaking as a way of connecting to your roots and searching for meaning in the simple act of baking and sharing bread.\n\nInspired by Meghan Murphy-Gill’s book\, The Sacred Life of Bread\, bakers of all levels and cultural/spiritual backgrounds will bake together\, spend reflective time on the land\, and share the fruits of our food traditions.  Explore how bread connects us to land\, our histories\, and one another. Leave with a deeper appreciation of breadmaking and a loaf you created.\n\nWhat bread holds meaning for you personally or culturally? Consider bringing some to the retreat to share.\n\n\nReturning program: will be similar to our 2025 bread making retreat.\n\n\n\n \n\n\n	\n \n \n \n \n *participation waiver\n \n \n \nShepherd’s Corner is a non-profit organization providing access and programs focused on care of creation\, connection to earth\, and reflection.
