SUMMARY:Shepherds Fest: Annual Open House
DESCRIPTION:September 12th\n10:00 am – 2:00 pm\nFREE EVENT\n\n\n\nThis annual event is free to the public! We are asking those who attend bring unexpired shelf stable foods to donate to local food pantries. You can also bring unused personal care items to donate as well! (Such as full-size gender-neutral shampoo\, bodywash\, body lotion\, toothpaste\, adult toothbrushes\, deodorants\, menstrual supply products.)\n\n\nBring your water bottle along with you. More information will be added as the date approaches!\n\n\n\n\nActivities for the day: more announced as the event gets closer!\n\n*Walk our meditation trail & labyrinths (yes\, there are two!)\n*See Gail Maraman from Windy Crest Design & her amazing wool art\n*Meet\, greet\, and feed our flock of sheep! Maggie Francesca Llama\, our llama\, may even come to say\, ‘Hi’!\n\n*Take a hayride around to see parts of Shepherd’s Corner you may not have seen before! (Including our emerging wetland!) \n\n\nSchedule of events: \nWhat is a labyrinth? Learn about labyrinths as a meditation tool and take time to walk our St. Catherine labyrinth.\nTimes TBD\nMeet at the tree near our St. Catherine Labyrinth. Located between our barn and our garden\, adjacent to the maple sugaring shack. This will be facilitated by our labyrinth caretaker\, John Seryak. \nGarden Tour: See what’s going on in the garden area.\nTimes TBD\nMeet outside the double doors\, closer to the pastures. \n

DESCRIPTION:Elementary: Home School Adventure Days\n\n2nd Monday of the month\n1:00 – 3:00 pm \n$5/student \nProgramming from 1:00 – 3:00 is designed for grades 1-5th grade students (6 years and older). Students older than this are welcome in our middle school program which is held from 9:30 am – 11:30 pm the same day. If you have younger students\, please see our Young Learner Adventure program which takes place on a different rotating day.  While a tagalong outside of this age range is permitted\, the programming will be geared towards the educational needs and interests of 1st – 5th graders. \n\nregister\n\n	\n		\n			\n				\n			\n			*participation waiver\n		\n		\n			 \nShepherd’s Corner is a non-profit organization providing access and programs focused on care of creation\, connection to earth\, and reflection. An individual’s decision to participate in any activity or program at Shepherd’s Corner Ecology Center \nis entirely voluntary. Visitors/participants assume all risks inherent to or associated with his\, her\, or their participation in the activity or event on Shepherd’s Corner’s property. Visitors/participants also take responsibility for their own level of fitness. \nIn signing this waiver\, I\, intending to be legally bound for myself\, my heirs\, executors\, and administrators\, waive\, release and forever discharge any and all rights and claims for damages I have or may have against Shepherd’s Corner or its employees\, for any and all claims and damages\, demands actions whatsoever in any manner\, as a result of my participation in programs\, events\, or visitation.
