What is the purpose of this event?
Proceeds from this evening will help restore and preserve Shepherd’s Corner’s historic timber-framed barn—the heart of our environmental education, food-pantry gardens, land stewardship, and healing programs. Your support helps sustain a place where people reconnect with the land, one another, and the promise of renewal.
Who is invited to A Wine & Harvest Evening?
Everyone over the age of 21. Due to the nature of this event no attendance will be permitted for those under the age of 21 years.
When and where is A Wine & Harvest Evening?
This event will be held around and inside our barn located at 987 N Waggoner Road in Blacklick. Doors open at 6:00 pm and the evening will conclude around 9:00 pm.
How much are tickets?
Early bird pricing is $75 per ticket. These are limited and will sell fast! After all Early Bird tickets are sold, the cost of tickets will rise to $100.
What’s included with a ticket?
Your ticket includes food, entertainment, and ticketed samples of wine from Central Ohio wineries. The food highlights produce grown right here at Shepherd’s Corner or From Scratch Farms – our organically minded partner farm in Johnstown Ohio. Other highlights include grass-fed beef from St. Catherine Farm – a Dominican Sisters’ of Peace cattle farm in Kentucky- along with other local partners.
Wait, I don’t drink wine. Can I still attend?
Of course you can! We’ll also have nonalcoholic beverages for you to enjoy.
What will parking look like?
Parking will be in our field. Please note that the field can be a bit bumpy and uneven. There will be volunteers who help guests get parked.
Is there a dress code for this event?
There is no formal dress code, but you can think garden-party casual: comfortable, relaxed, and ready to enjoy an evening outdoors among the fields, gardens, and barn. We recommend weather-appropriate attire and comfortable shoes for walking on uneven ground. A Wine & Harvest Evening will be held rain or shine, so please plan accordingly.
Can I bring my dog to the Wine & Harvest Evening?
We do not allow pets at Shepherd’s Corner. We need to be attentive to the needs of other people and of our farm animals.
Will I be able to purchase bottles of wine if I find some that I enjoy?
You sure can! Bottles can be purchased from the winery partners however; they cannot be consumed on site. The only wine that can be consumed on site are the sample pours from the wineries.
OK, this sounds great! How do I register?
